On Wednesday dawn, a group of illegal Israeli colonizers installed an outpost on Palestinian lands near the northern West Bank city of Nablus, just hours after the army removed it.
Media sources said the colonizers gathered, shortly after midnight, in the al-Jneina area near the al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya village, south of Nablus, and installed the new illegal outpost on stolen Palestinian lands.
They added that colonizers reinstalled the outpost in the same area where, on Tuesday evening, the army evacuated it.
The outpost is in an essential location just half war near the main Nablus-Ramallah Road, used by thousands of Palestinians in their daily commute.
All of Israel’s colonies and the colonialist outposts in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
