Illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers escalated their assaults on Palestinian farmland across the occupied West Bank on Sunday, uprooting ancient olive trees, stealing harvests, and deepening their grip on seized agricultural areas.
In the northern West Bank, colonizers invaded lands belonging to the villages of An-Naqoura and Deir Sharaf, northwest of Nablus, and stole olive harvests.
Local sources said the group spread across privately owned groves before being discovered and expelled by residents.
In the central West Bank, colonizers continued daily assaults on olive groves in the northwestern outskirts of Farkha village, west of Salfit.
Mustafa Hammad, head of the village council, stated that colonizers have been cutting and breaking dozens of trees and grazing livestock inside cultivated lands to prevent farmers from accessing them.
Established in October 2024 as a livestock outpost, the colonial site known as “Shuval” has since blocked Palestinian farmers from accessing over 75% of their olive groves.
Hammad confirmed that the council is documenting these violations with photos and videos and urged the international community to pressure Israel to halt the attacks.
In the northern Jordan Valley, colonizers resumed work on agricultural land previously seized in the Al-Farisiya area.
Local sources said the land was plowed about a month ago and is now being prepared for planting.
Over the past two years, more than ten Palestinian families have been forced to leave the area due to escalating colonizer violence targeting residents and their property.
In the northwestern West Bank, colonizers uprooted dozens of ancient olive trees in the village of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilia.
Munif Nazzal, who monitors Israel’s illegal colonial activity in the Qalqilia governorate, said colonizers from the Kedumim colony—built on stolen Palestinian land—uprooted 50 centuries-old olive trees in the northern part of the village. The trees belong to local resident Mohammad Yousef Shtayyeh.
These coordinated violations reflect a systematic campaign to dispossess Palestinian farmers, destroy agricultural heritage, and entrench colonial control over occupied land.
On Saturday, Israeli colonizers opened fire towards Palestinians near Nablus, while occupation forces abducted an international activist in Masafer Yatta.
Also Saturday, Israeli colonizers launched several incursions across multiple areas of the occupied West Bank’s Northern Plains, targeting Palestinian communities and infrastructure.
Earlier in the day, Israeli colonizers carried out coordinated attacks in two areas of the occupied West Bank—Masafer Yatta near Hebron in the south, and Al-Auja near Jericho in the northeast.
All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.
Article 33 of the Fourth Geneva Convention prohibits collective punishment and acts of terror against civilian populations.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
Articles 53 and 147, prohibit the destruction of civilian property and classify pillage as a war crime.
