On Wednesday groups of illegal fanatic paramilitary Israeli colonizers uprooted Palestinian grapevines, olive and almond trees near Salfit, and invaded a Palestinian village near Jericho, in the central and the northeastern parts of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said the paramilitary colonizers invaded Palestinian lands in Qarawat Bani Hassan town, northwest of Salfit, before uprooting 70 grape, olive, and almond trees.
Hisham Rayyan, the owner of the invaded lands said the colonizers uprooted his trees and grapevines on his land in the Khallet Abu Zeid area, west of Qarawat Bani Hassan.
He added that the colonizers stole the uprooted trees and removed the barbed wire surrounding the land.
In related news, paramilitary colonizers invaded the Ras Al-Awja Bedouin community, north of Jericho City, and attacked several shepherds.
Hasan Mleihat, the supervisor of the Al-Baidar Organization for Protecting Bedouin Rights, said the colonizers also stormed the home of a local shepherd, Ayed Mousa Ka’abna, and took pictures of his home, his livestock, and his land.
It is worth mentioning that Ka’abna lives near many residential sheds and tents the colonizers burnt two months ago after invading the community and assaulting the Palestinians.
All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
On Wednesday evening, Israeli soldiers invaded several villages, northeast of Jenin, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.
Also Wednesday, the soldiers fatally shot a young Palestinian woman, Maymouna Abdul-Hamid Harahsha, 20, on the bypass road #60, north of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.
Media sources said the soldiers fired several live rounds from point-blank range at the woman and left her bleeding on the ground until she succumbed to her wounds.
On Wednesday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted at least fifteen Palestinians, including former political prisoners, from several parts of the occupied West Bank.
