Medical sources in central Gaza confirmed that a Palestinian man was killed and several others were injured on Tuesday evening when an Israeli military drone fired a missile at a group of civilians in the Nuseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza.
Medical sources said that a Palestinian man, Ibrahim Awni an‑Naji, succumbed to the serious wounds he suffered in a previous Israeli bombing of Gaza City.
Staff at Al‑Awda Hospital in Nuseirat said the body of one Palestinian and multiple wounded Palestinians, including some who suffered serious injuries, arrived at the emergency department following the strike.
Al‑Jazeera reported that Israeli military drones fired at least two missiles at a home in the refugee camp, scattering fragments across the surrounding area and causing additional injuries, including several who suffered serious wounds before being transferred to Al‑Awda Hospital.

The network added that more explosions were heard in the eastern area of the nearby Al‑Boreij refugee camp after the Israeli army detonated homes and buildings, along with additional munitions dropped by military drones.
Emergency crews in the camp said they faced difficulty reaching the site due to damaged roads and the continued presence of Israeli drones overhead, which have been conducting persistent surveillance and repeated strikes throughout the day.
The attack in Nuseirat is part of the continued Israeli bombardment across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, which included drone fire and shelling in several areas of central and southern Gaza, leaving additional casualties and causing further destruction to civilian homes and shelters.
Medical teams warned that the number of casualties may rise, as several of the wounded suffered critical injuries and many areas remain inaccessible due to ongoing military activity.
The attack in Nuseirat comes as part of the continued Israeli violations across the Gaza Strip. Four Palestinians were killed earlier in separate Israeli attacks over the previous 24 hours, reflecting the ongoing pattern of lethal strikes targeting civilian areas throughout the besieged coastal enclave.
