Israeli forces assassinated four Palestinians, before midnight on Tuesday/Wednesday, when an armed drone fired a missile in the center of the Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the West Bank.

According to medical sources at the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarem, four Palestinian young men were killed by an Israeli drone strike in the center of the Nur Shams camp.

The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the identities of the slain young men as Yazid Sa’ed Adel Shafe’, 22, Nimir Anwar Ahmad Hamarsha, 25, Mohammad Yasser Raja Shehada, 20, and Mohammad Hasan Ghannam Kanouh, 22.

Media sources said that a very loud explosion was heard in the center of the camp after a missile was fired from a drone.

The national factions in the Tulkarem governorate declared a comprehensive strike on Wednesday for all aspects of life in the governorate, to mourn the loss of the four slain men.

For its part, the Times of Israel quoted the occupation army who claimed the four young men were allegedly “planting an explosive device when they were struck.”

The army added that they were “tracking the cell, and ambushed them as the operatives began to plant a roadside bomb.”

It also admitted that “the location of the strike was about 100 meters from where an Israeli soldier was killed by a roadside bomb on Monday morning.”


On Monday, Palestinian resistance fighters targeted a military vehicle with a crude explosive device causing serious damage, while no injuries were initially reported, the army now admits that a solider was killed.

An Israeli drone strike killed a Palestinian woman, on Monday, and injured four others, while a soldier shot a 15-year-old child in the head with live ammunition, at the entrance to the Tulkarem refugee camp.

The slain woman, Nisreen Khaled Damiri, 47, was killed as a result of shrapnel from the missile which struck her in the neck and back, while the child, Mohammad Ali Sarhan, 15, was executed after a soldier shot him in the head with live ammunition.

Military bulldozers caused severe destruction to vital infrastructure, including the main water line in the Nur Shams camp, in addition to citizens’ property, and also sabotaged several streets in various areas of Tulkarem city.

On Sunday, Israeli forces executed the young man, Saeed Izzat Jaber, 24, and injured five others, two seriously, after an armed Israeli drone fired three missiles at a citizen’s home in the Nur Shams camp.

Israeli forces have now killed 560 Palestinian civilians, including 138 children, and injured more than 5,200 others, in various regions of the occupied West Bank, since the beginning of the military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.

Israeli forces have killed at least 37,925 Palestinians, the majority of whom are woman and children, and injured at least 87,141, since the beginning of the brutal military onslaught against the devastated Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, while thousands remain buried under the rubble.
