Israeli forces abducted, on Saturday afternoon, a Palestinian child near Bab Al-Amoud (Damascus Gate) in occupied Jerusalem.
Media sources said that occupation police abducted a 17-year-old Palestinian citizen of Birzeit town, north of Ramallah, in the central West Bank, under the pretext that he had a knife in his possession.
Before dawn on Saturday, Israeli forces heavily fired tear gas canisters at citizens and their homes in the Shu’fat refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, while local youths aimed fireworks into the sky in protest of the army presence.
Meanwhile, in the southern West Bank, occupation forces stormed the Dheisheh refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, fired tear gas canisters and concussion grenades at Palestinians who protested the incursion.
It was added that the army invaded, on Saturday afternoon, the towns of Doha and Beit Jala, west and northwest of Bethlehem.
In the southern West Bank, the army abducted five Palestinians in the Hebron governorate.
Soldiers abducted Ahmad Mahmoud Awawda, Sa’ad Atef Qazzaz, Na’im Mousa Abu Rajab, Yousef Ayman Sabarna, and Mohammad Haitham Sabarna from the governorate.
