In the central occupied West Bank, Israeli forces abducted eight Palestinians including former prisoners from the Ramallah governorate, during the predawn hours of Tuesday.

Soldiers abducted the former political prisoner and leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), Khalida Jarrar, from the city.

Also in Ramallah, the army abducted Ihsan Shtayyeh and Rami Fadhil, in addition to Ayoub Hamdan, from the city of Al-Biereh, east of Ramallah.

In the village of Beit Rima, northwest of the city, soldiers abducted the young men, Fadi Bagis Al-Rimawi and Jamal Kamal Al-Rimawi, after invading and searching their homes.

After invading and searching the home of the head of the Saffa village council, soldiers abducted the former prisoner, Safa Rashad Karaja, from his home in Saffa village, west of Ramallah.

Meanwhile, soldiers abducted Omar Atta from the village of Deir Abu Mash’al, northwest of the city.

Soldiers also stormed a commercial shop in the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah.


In related news, the army brutally assaulted a Palestinian young man as he tried to pass through a flying military roadblock north of Ramallah.

Soldiers attacked the young man, Muhammad Anasawy; he was subsequently transported to hospital for medical treatment.
