Israeli forces abducted an entire Palestinian family on Saturday evening after invading the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.
Local sources reported that soldiers broke into the home of Mahmoud Odah Ghazal, 55, searched the property, and abducted him along with his wife, Laila Khalil Abu Dayya, 50, their two sons, Abdul‑Rahman, 20, and Mohammad, 27, and Mohammad’s wife, Hiba Taqatqa, 25.
Earlier in the day, more than thirty illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers invaded the village, shooting and injuring a child, breaking into a school and several homes, and destroying crops belonging to local farmers.
Later, Israeli soldiers returned to the village and abducted three women to pressure their husbands to surrender themselves to the army, after the men had fended off an attack by illegal colonizers targeting their land.
Also Saturday, Israeli forces conducted a series of invasions across the occupied West Bank, storming towns, villages, and a refugee camp, breaking into homes, firing live rounds and gas bombs, and abducting several Palestinians in multiple districts.
In addition, illegal Israeli colonizers shot a Palestinian child in Kisan and attacked citizens and their properties in several areas of the occupied West Bank.
These attacks come amid a surge in colonizer violence across rural areas east of Bethlehem, where Palestinian communities face repeated assaults, property damage, and coordinated pressure aimed at forcing them from their land.
