Israeli forces abducted five Palestinians, on Sunday, after invading and searching their homes and attacked participants of a demonstration in the southern West Bank governorate of Hebron.
Media sources said that occupation soldiers abducted the young man, Amir Nimer al-Tal, 21, from the town of Ath-Thahiriya, southwest of Hebron, in addition to the citizens, Amer Ismail Rabaa and Atef Rabaa from Yatta town, south of the city.
Sources added that the army abducted Ramzi Abdul Hakim al-Awawdeh from Doura town, southwest of Hebron, and Shafiq Firas Mariziq from the town of Ethna, northwest of the city.
Meanwhile, north of Hebron, occupation forces attacked participants of a non-violent march denouncing the Israeli military onslaught on the Gaza Strip, in the Al-Arroub refugee camp.
Media sources said that Israeli soldiers opened fire with many live rounds and tear gas canisters towards the demonstrators, during a peaceful protest in solidarity with the people of Gaza.
Sources added that occupation forces also positioned sharpshooters on the rooftops of citizens’ homes after storming them.
