Israeli forces abducted on Saturday evening, and Sunday before dawn, four Palestinians, including a child, in addition to assaulting a young man, and shooting another, in various regions of the occupied West Bank.

In the northern part of the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces assaulted, on Saturday evening, a Palestinian young man, near Huwara town, south of Nablus.

According to the head of the Ambulance and Emergency Services at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Nablus, Ahmed Jibril, soldiers assaulted a young man, causing fractures and bruises, and blocked medics from approaching the injured man.

No further information was provided about the identity or condition of the young man.

Meanwhile, occupation forces abducted, on Saturday evening, two Palestinians, including a child, at a flying military roadblock, at the northern entrance to the city of Jericho, in the eastern West Bank.

According to Eid Brahma, the head of the Jericho chapter of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), soldiers abducted two Palestinians when they attempted to pass through the military roadblock.

Brahma added that soldiers abducted Jihad Suleiman Abu Shalhoub, 19, and Youssef Abdullah Al-Khatib, 17, who are both citizens of the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, south of Jericho.

Before dawn on Sunday, Israeli forces stormed the central West Bank town of Birzeit, north of Ramallah, sparking fierce protests from local youths.

Media sources said that soldiers invaded the home of Saif Salah al-Din Washha, 25, before abducting him.

During the army’s withdrawal of the town, soldiers fired rubber-coated steel rounds at Palestinian youths who resisted the incursion, shooting a young man in the head.

Sources added that the young man was in stable condition.

Furthermore, on Sunday afternoon, Israeli forces abducted a Palestinian young man, identified as Musab Abu Ghazaleh, at the “Forgiveness Gate” or Bab al-Hatta, one of the gates at the entrance to the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.

Sources added that soldiers transferred Abu Ghazaleh to the Al-Qishla interrogation center in the Old City.
