The Israeli army, on Friday, abducted at least seven Palestinians including a child, and shot four citizens including a child in Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Hebron, and injured many others.
Ramallah
In the predawn hours of Friday, Israeli forces in 20 military vehicles invaded the cities of Ramallah and Al-Biereh in the central occupied West Bank, sparking fierce resistance.
Palestinian youths hurled rocks at the invading army and resistance fighters fired at the armored vehicles, while soldiers invaded and ransacked a commercial shop.
Soldiers fired tear gas canisters at protestors causing several people to sustain inhalation injuries.
On Friday evening, soldiers stormed the town of Kafr Ni’ma, west of Ramallah, sparking protests.
Near the town, soldiers fired live rounds and rubber-coated steel rounds at those who resisted the incursion.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) two young men sustained live gunshot wounds in the thigh, and were transported to hospital.
Occupied Jerusalem
On Friday morning Israeli forces attacked Palestinian worshipers at the Bab al-Asbat or (Lion’s Gate), one of the main gates to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem.
Occupation police denied Palestinian Muslims entry into the compound and assaulted them.
On Friday afternoon, Israeli forces attacked Palestinians in the Wadi Al-Jouz neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem where they were performing prayers.
Soldiers also denied them entry in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, assaulted them, sprayed wastewater at them, in addition to firing tear gas canisters and concussion grenades at them.
Bethlehem
Israeli occupation forces, at dawn Friday, invaded the Bethlehem governorate in the southern West Bank, and abducted the Deputy Director of the Jerusalem Endowments, Sheikh Najeh Bakirat after storming and searching his home in the village of Dar Salah east of the city of Bethlehem.
Meanwhile the army abducted the Palestinian child, Bahaa Mahmoud Al-Arouj, 16, after invading and searching his family home in the town of Jannatah, south of Bethlehem.
On Friday afternoon, Palestinian youths protested the army presence in the town of Al-Khader, southwest of Bethlehem.
Occupation forces fired rubber-coated steel rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades, shooting a Palestinian young man in the back with a tear gas canister.
Many others suffered the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation and were treated at the scene.
Hebron
At dawn Friday, Israeli occupation forces stormed the southern West Bank city of Hebron in addition to many surrounding towns and villages.
Large army forces invaded the city of Hebron, Dura town, southwest of Hebron, the towns of Yatta and As-Samu’ south of the city, in addition to Beit Ummar in the north.
Soldiers spread throughout the areas, and obstructed the movement of citizens, stopping and searching many vehicles.
On Friday morning, the army abducted Qusay Akram Irfaiya and Muhammad Marwan Al-Ajlouni from the city of Hebron.
West of the city, in the town of Tarqumiyah, soldiers invaded the homes of Humaidan Jamal Atbeish and Abdel Jamal Atbeish before abducting them.
In the evening, the army attacked a funeral procession in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.
Soldiers fired live round, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades at mourners, shooting 16-year-old Palestinian child with live rounds.
The severity of the child’s wound was described as moderate to serious, while dozens of citizens sustained inhalation injuries as a result of tear gas exposure.
Furthermore, on Friday evening, Israeli forces invaded the Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron and stormed several Palestinian-owned homes.
Soldiers occupied the rooftops of many homes, and after storming and ransacking the home of Nidal Al-Sharif, 47, they abducted he and his son, Hassan.
