Israeli forces abducted several Palestinian citizens on Monday, including a female journalist, in various parts of the occupied West Bank.
On Monday evening, occupation forces invaded the town of Azzun and the villages of Imatin and Far’ata, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the West Bank.
Media sources said that the army stormed Azzun town, and the villages of Imatin and Far’ata on Monday evening, and patrolled the streets; no arrests or protests were reported.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces abducted two young men in Tubas city, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods in the city of Tubas on Monday morning, and abducted the young men, Musab Bahjat and Mohammad Abu Sayyaj after invading and searching their homes.
Furthermore, Israeli soldiers stormed the village of Beit Imrin, northwest of Nablus in the northern West Bank, and invaded a citizen’s home.
Media sources said that the army invaded Beit Imrin village and broke into the home of Hani al-Sheikh Adel, before ransacking it and withdrawing.
At dawn Monday, occupation forces stormed several towns and villages in the central West Bank governorate of Ramallah, and abducted a young man.
Media sources said that the army abducted an unidentified young man in the Al-Irsal neighborhood in the city of Al-Biereh.
Sources added that the army invaded the town of Ni’lin, and the villages of Deir Abu Mash’al and Al-Mazra’a Al-Gharbiya in the Ramallah governorate; no arrests were reported.
On Monday evening, occupation forces abducted a Palestinian young man at a military roadblock near Ajoul village, north of Ramallah, and stormed a number of towns and villages in the governorate.
Media sources said that the army abducted Sufyan Dagher after stopping him at a military roadblock in the Wadi Ajul area on the outskirts of the village.
Sources added that occupation forces invaded the towns of Sinjil, Al-Mazra’a Al-Sharqiya, and Al-Mughayyir, and erected a military roadblock at the entrance to the town of Aroura.
Moreover, on Monday evening, Israeli forces abducted a female journalist and her brother from the “Mount of Olives” area of occupied Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that soldiers abducted the female journalist, Tharwat Shaqra and her brother, Mohammad, while they were present in the “Mount of Olives” area; they were transferred to a detention center. The Arab 48 news website reported that occupation police released Shaqra after investigation.
