Israeli occupation forces abducted two Palestinian civilians on Wednesday evening in the city of Tulkarem, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said Israeli soldiers intercepted a military medical services ambulance returning from Nablus at the Jabara military roadblock, south of Tulkarem.

They added that the soldiers searched the ambulance and abducted Raed Mohammad Dheeb Jaber, an officer in the military medical services unit in Tulkarem.

The army also abducted Mohannad Abbas while he was in the western neighborhood of the city.

Abbas is a resident of Qabatia, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and a student at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie in Tulkarem.

Later that night, Israeli soldiers violently assaulted Palestinian citizen Amro Al-Qattawi inside his shop in the same neighborhood. He was briefly detained before being released and transferred to the hospital for medical treatment.

Military forces roamed the streets of Tulkarem, particularly in the western area, impeding the movement of civilians and vehicles.

During the invasion, the soldiers stopped young men, inspected their identification cards, subjected them to interrogations, and confiscated the keys of a vehicle parked in front of a local shop.

These violations took place amid Israel’s ongoing assault on Tulkarem and its refugee camps, which has continued for the 185th  consecutive day.

On Monday, Israeli forces killed a Palestinian young man after shooting him with live rounds at the northern entrance to the city of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that Israeli soldiers executed the young man, Mohammad Samer Suleiman al-Jamal, 27, after shooting him with live ammunition at the northern entrance to Hebron city.

Also, an illegal Israeli colonizer shot and killed 31-year-old Awda Muhammad Khalil al-Hathalin, 31, in the village of Umm al-Khair in the Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.

Since the beginning of the year, Israeli forces and colonizers have killed 190 Palestinian citizens, in the occupied West Bank, including 37 children and 6 women.

Occupation forces have killed 65 Palestinians in Jenin, 33 in Nablus, 27 in Tubas, 17 in Tulkarem, 15 in Hebron, 11 in Ramallah, 9 in Bethlehem, 5 in Jerusalem, 4 in Qalqilia, 3 in Salfit, and 1 in Jericho.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli soldiers and paramilitary colonizers have killed 1,025 Palestinians, including 210 children, 22 women,  1 journalist and 2 medics, in the West Bank. The corpses of 252 slain Palestinians remain held by Israel.
