Israeli forces abducted, on Saturday, two Palestinians in the northern West Bank city of Nablus and the village of Beit Iba, northwest of the city.

Media sources said that occupation forces abducted two former prisoners in the Nablus governorate, at dawn on Saturday.

Sources added that several military vehicles stormed the city of Nablus before dawn, from its western entrance and soldiers were stationed in many western and central neighborhoods.


Occupation forces invaded a residential building on Asira Street and abducted the former prisoner, Hussam Al-Bastami, while the sound of gunfire and concussion grenades were heard in the city.


Meanwhile, in the village of Beit Iba, northwest of Nablus, Israeli soldiers invaded the Abu Namous family home and abducted the former prisoner, Khaled Abu Namous.

According to Palestine TV, Israeli forces invaded the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron in the southern West Bank, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths.

It added that occupation soldiers fired live rounds and tear gas canisters; no injuries or abductions were reported.

Palestine TV also reported that Israeli soldiers fired flares in the sky over the town of Doura, southwest of Hebron.


Furthermore, Palestine TV reported that occupation forces invaded the town of Azzoun, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the West Bank, and fired live rounds.

Israeli forces also invaded the village of Deir Abu Misha’al, northwest of Ramallah in the central West Bank, and patrolled the streets, while another force invaded the town of Marda, north of Salfit, in the central West Bank.
