Israeli occupation forces invaded several towns and villages in the Qalqilia governorate in the northwestern region of the West Bank, on Saturday, abducted two Palestinian young men, and caused damage to citizens’ vehicles.
In the predawn hours of Saturday Israeli forces invaded the village of Kufur Qaddoum, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.
Soldiers stormed several homes and abducted two young men, Raafat and Rami Abdel Latif Shteiwi, after brutally assaulting them.
Later military reinforcements arrived in the village, while the army continued its incursion into the Qalqilia governorate, storming the village of Hableh south of the city.
It was also reported that soldiers invaded the town of Kafr Thulth southeast of the city, where soldiers fired tear gas canisters towards citizens’ homes during an incursion that lasted for many hours.
On Saturday afternoon, the army erected flying military roadblocks at the entrance to the village of Kufur Qaddoum, stopping and searching citizens’ vehicles and inspecting the identification of their occupants.
According to Palestine TV the army attacked citizens and opened fire at vehicles, causing damage during a prolonged incursion into the village, closed all its entrances.
On Saturday night, the army opened live fire in the village of Kufur Qaddoum, according to Palestine TV. No injuries were reported at the time of writing this report.
In related news, Israeli forces shot and killed the child, Mahmoud Bassem Abu Haniyeh, 17, in the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilia, after shooting him in the back with live rounds.
