Israeli forces executed a Palestinian man, on Thursday, after shooting and abducting him in the northern occupied West Bank city of Nablus.
The Palestinian Health Ministry announced the death of the former prisoner, Qasim Aboud Mutie Al-Aklik, 42, after being informed by the General Authority of Civil Affairs.
Media sources said that an undercover Israeli unit “Musta’ribeen” infiltrated Ibn Rushd Street in Nablus city, before opening fire at the young man, Al-Aklik, and shooting him in the head with live ammunition.
Sources added that the army then abducted the wounded man, later informing the General Authority of Civil Affairs that he had died of his wounds; occupation forces withheld the body of the slain man.
The WAFA News Agency reported that the army also shot the slain man’s 7-year-old daughter, Hajar, in the thigh with live ammunition; she was transported to the Rafidia Governmental Hospital in Nablus.
It is important to mention that the slain Al-Aklik is a former detainee who spent a total of 18 years in Israeli occupation prisons.
In related news, the Israeli military assassinated ten Palestinian young men, on Wednesday, when warplanes fired a missile at a group of Palestinians in the town of Tammun, south of Tubas in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.
