Early Sunday morning, Israeli forces assaulted Palestinian families from the Jenin refugee camp as they attempted to visit the cemetery in the camp following Eid prayers on the first day of the Eid Al-Fitr Muslim feast.

Local sources reported that Israeli soldiers fired tear gas bombs at the residents visiting the cemetery to pray for their slain and deceased loved ones, resulting in numerous injuries.

The sources added that, among those injured, was journalist Nour Al-Fares, who was transferred to Ibn Sina Hospital for treatment.

In addition, the soldiers invaded the town of Rummana and abducted Omar Abu Asba after surrounding his family’s home.

The army also deployed military reinforcements from the Jalama military roadblock to the vicinity of Jenin refugee camp.

Inside the refugee camp, the soldiers continued their demolition and destruction of homes, properties, streets, and infrastructure, while expanding roads to facilitate the movement of military vehicles.

So far, more than 21,000 residents of Jenin refugee camp have been forcibly displaced, now scattered across 39 towns and localities in the area.

The army is systematically altering the Jenin refugee camp’s landscape through widespread destruction, which has affected 600 homes and completely devastated the camp’s infrastructure.

Bulldozing, home demolitions, and the conversion of some properties into military outposts remain ongoing.

The frequency of abductions in the Jenin governorate has significantly increased, with Israeli forces conducting daily abductions in the city and its surrounding towns and villages.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Jenin city and its refugee camp, now in its 69th day, has resulted in the deaths of 34 Palestinians, dozens of injuries, and hundreds of abductions and invasions targeting homes, villages, and towns across the governorate.

For sixty-three consecutive days, Israeli forces have maintained their extensive offensive and destruction in Tulkarem city and its refugee camp, intensifying their assault in the Nur Shams refugee camp for the 50th day.

Since the beginning of the year, Israeli forces have killed 113 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, including 18 children and 4 women.
