Israeli forces attacked, on Friday, Palestinians who participated in a sit-in to demonstrate against the Israeli policy of demolishing Palestinian-owned homes, in the Al-Bustan neighborhood of Silwan town in occupied East Jerusalem.

Palestinians were performing the Friday afternoon prayer when they were attacked by occupation forces who fired concussion grenades at worshipers while they prayed.

Soldiers also assaulted worshipers, fired rubber-coated steel rounds, and sprayed wastewater at them in an attempt to stifle the demonstration.

Israeli authorities demolish Palestinian-owned homes and deny Palestinian citizens the right to build in occupied Jerusalem, while allowing illegal Israeli settlers to take over Palestinian homes, build settlement outposts, and expand existing colonies.
