Israeli occupation forces last week, ordered a halt on the construction of two Palestinian houses in the villages of al-Khader and Beit Skarya, near the city of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
Local official, Hasan Burejiya, in charge of monitoring Israeli violations in the area, told Palestinian WAFA News Agency that Israeli forces invaded the two villages and delivered notices ordering the homeowners to stop the construction of their houses.
The orders were given to two local citizens, identified as Mohammad Mustafa Sbeih and Amer Odeh, under the pretext that the buildings did not have Israeli permits. The villages are located in Area C, under full Israeli civil and military control, where Palestinian homes are frequently demolished, and permits are rarely given to Palestinians.
