On Wednesday, Israeli forces destroyed three water wells near Tubas in the northeastern part of the West Bank, and ordered a Palestinian citizen to demolish his home in occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli forces stormed the “Al-Bustan” neighborhood of Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, on Wednesday, and handed him an order to demolish his home.
According to the Jerusalem Governorate, Israeli municipality crews invaded the home of the citizen Abu Yousef Al-Rashq, and ordered him to demolish his home within the next ten days.
The occupation municipality ordered that Al-Rashq demolish his home in the next 10 days or face a financial penalty if the army carries out the demolition.
In the same context, Israeli forces destroyed three water wells in the villages of Atuf and Khirbet ar-Ras al-Ahmar, southeast of Tubas, in the northeastern part of the West Bank.
According to Abdullah Bisharat, the head of the Atuf and Ras al-Ahmar village council, reported that occupation forces completed the demolition of three artesian water wells, two weeks after filling them with concrete.
Bisharat added that the army destroyed the three wells, two weeks after they filled them with concrete and damaged the pumps.
He stated that the destroyed wells supplied water to Palestinian communities living on the 7,500 dunams of land in the Al-Buqai’a plain in the northern Jordan Valley.
In a later development, Israeli forces caused a power outage on Wednesday evening, after invading the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah in the central West Bank.
Media sources reported that occupation forces stormed the town, deployed infantry units in several neighborhoods, firing live ammunition and tear gas canisters, targeting a main electricity transformer.
The damage caused a complete power outage in the town of Turmus Ayya, and the villages of Abu Falah and Al-Mughayyir.
