Israeli forces demolished, on Thursday, an agricultural room in the town of Deir Ballout, west of Salfit in the central West Bank, and abducted five citizens in the governorate. Northwest of Ramallah, illegal Israeli colonizers continued to pave a settler-only road, built on Palestinian lands in the village of Deir Abu Mash’al.

Media sources said that occupation forces demolished an agricultural room belonging to the citizen, Adel Yousef Abdullah, in the town of Deir Ballout.

Meanwhile, Israeli colonizers continued for the fourth consecutive day, to pave a settler-only road, covering 500 dunams of Palestinian lands in the village of Deir Abu Mash’al.

Illegal colonizers invaded the village of Deir Jarir, north of Ramallah, and closed the western entrance of the village, obstructing citizens’ movement.

In the same context, Israel plans to move forward with its plan to annex the occupied West Bank, while simultaneously advancing operations to take full control Gaza City.

The Times of Israel reported that Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich announced on Wednesday, a proposal to annex 82% of the occupied West Bank, calling for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to claim “sovereignty” over the West Bank.

The push to annex the West Bank coincides with Israel’s mission to take over Gaza City and forcibly displace 1 million Palestinians, while committing a genocide against the entire population, having killed 64,000 Palestinians since October 7, 2023.

Several countries including France, Canada, Britain, and most recently Belgium, have announced their intention to recognize the state of Palestine, resulting in severe backlash by the U.S. and Israel.

Smotrich stated, “The broad consensus for sovereignty is a direct result of a deep understanding that we can never allow an existential threat to establish itself among us, and after decades of hesitation, it is time to state this clearly and act accordingly.”
