Israeli forces demolished, on Thursday, four tourist villas in Jericho city, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank, and delivered orders to demolish a residential building north of occupied Jerusalem.
Media sources said that occupation forces stormed near the “Hisham’s Palace” archaeological site in Jericho city, accompanied by bulldozers.
Sources added that the villas, owned by the citizen, Musa Mustafa, were demolished under the Israeli army’s pretext of unlicensed construction.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the Israeli authorities demolished 318 facilities in the occupied West Bank between January and July of 2024, while 313 facilities were demolished during the entire year of 2023, clearly indicates an unprecedented escalation.
Meanwhile, north of occupied Jerusalem, Israeli authorities notified a Palestinian citizen of demolition orders against his residential building, in the town of Kafr Aqab.
Media sources said that occupation authorities handed demolition orders to the citizen, Ayman Abdel Hamid Awad, who owns the under-construction building located near the illegal Annexation and Apartheid wall.
Furthermore, Palestine TV published a video showing Israeli forces confiscating a concrete mixer from a Palestinian citizen in Yatta town, south of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.
In related news, illegal colonizers set up tents on the Palestinian-owned lands in the town of Kafr ad-Dik, west of Salfit in the central West Bank.
According to the town’s Mayor, Alaa al-Dik, a group of settlers invaded the town and set up tents and raised the occupation flag, just 400 meters from citizens’ homes.
Moreover, Palestine TV released a video documenting armed Israeli colonizers preventing Palestinians from grazing their sheep in Wadi Al-Jawaya, east of Yatta.
