On Wednesday and Thursday, Israeli forces demolished 2 agricultural structures, a water well, and a restaurant, in addition to razing lands in preparation for a new illegal colony, in various regions of the occupied West Bank.

On Thursday morning, demolished two agricultural rooms and a water well in the town of Qabalan, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

According to Riad Amla, the head of the Qablan municipal council, several occupation jeeps and a military bulldozer invaded the town and proceeded to demolish two agricultural rooms and a water well, belonging to citizens, Theeb Suleiman Najm and Khairy Issa Amla.

On Wednesday, Israeli occupation authorities ordered a Palestinian-owned home to be demolished in the Jenin refugee camp, in the northern West Bank.

According to Muhammad Ayman Muhammad Barakat, Israeli forces stormed the Barakat family home and delivered a demolition order for the home.

It is important to mention that the order gave the family 96 hours to appeal the decision to demolish the two-storey home, which is home to eight family members.

Meanwhile, in the central occupied West Bank, Israeli military bulldozers continued to raze Palestinian-owned lands in the “Al-Ras” area, northwest of Salfit, in a prelude to the establishment of a new colonial endeavor.

Nazmi Salman, a local anti-settlement activist said, “According to a report issued by the Israeli Peace Now movement, this new colony will include 1,600 housing units, after it was considered part of the “Ariel” colony, which is adjacent to the city of Salfit.”

Furthermore, in the town of Al-Auja, north of Jericho, in the northeastern part of the West Bank, Israeli forces demolished, on Wednesday, a Palestinian-owned restaurant.


According to Atta Ahmed Salama Romanin, the owner of the restaurant, occupation forces, accompanied by an excavator, demolished two of his commercial stores, including a restaurant.

Romanin added that the occupation demolished the structures, measuring 140 square meters under the pretext of being un-licensed.

He added that the demolition of the restaurant resulted in financial losses, depriving him of his source of livelihood.

Article 53 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states;

Any destruction by the Occupying Power of real or personal property belonging individually or collectively to private persons, or to the State, or to other public authorities, or to social or cooperative organizations, is prohibited, except where such destruction is rendered absolutely necessary by military operations.
