Israeli forces demolished three Palestinian-owned homes, on Tuesday, in the Qalqilia, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem governorates in the occupied West Bank.

Khalil Muammar, member of the Battir Municipal Council told the WAFA News Agency that Israeli forces invaded the town of Battir, west of Bethlehem, in the southern occupied West Bank.

Muammar added that the army, accompanied by an excavator, demolished the 100-square-meter under-construction home belonging to the citizen, Samir al-Harbuk, under the pretext of not having a permit.

Meanwhile, occupation forces demolished a citizen’s home and a park, in the town of Anata, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.

Media sources reported that Israeli forces invaded Anata town on Tuesday morning, accompanied by 2 bulldozers, which destroyed the home of the citizen, Moaz Salama, in addition to razing a recreational park.


Furthermore, in the northwestern part of the West Bank, Israeli forces demolished a citizen’s home in the village of Ezbet al-Ashqar, southeast of Qalqilia.

According to Munif Nazzal, the official in charge of the settlement file in the Qalqilia governorate, occupation forces invaded the village of Ezbet al-Ashqar.

Nazzal added that Israeli soldiers demolished the 110-square-meter home owned by the citizen, Mufid Jaidi, under the pretext of building without a permit.


In related news, the Israeli occupation authorities announced the expropriation of 455 dunams (112 acres) of Palestinian lands in the Qalqilia and Nablus governorates in the northwestern and northern parts of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources reported that the Israeli authorities claimed that the seized Palestinian lands would be classified as “state lands” in order to expand colonial settlements.
