On Thursday morning, Israeli forces invaded the town of Qatanna, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, accompanied by two excavators, before demolishing two Palestinian homes.

Media sources reported that occupation forces stormed the town of Qatanna, with heavy machinery, followed by military reinforcements and demolished two inhabited houses belonging to the brothers, Iyad and Ziad Houshieh.


The sources added that the homes were shelter to at least 20 Palestinians, with each house covering an area of 150 square meters.

The Israeli occupation “authorities” notified seven brothers, Iyad, Imad, Ziad, Ramadan, Karim, Mu’taz, and Muhammad Houshieh of its plans for the demolition of their homes ten years ago.


According to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, occupation authorities carried out 25 demolitions in October 2025, destroying a total of 28 facilities, including 15 inhabited homes, 2 uninhabited homes, and 11 agricultural facilities.

The demolitions were concentrated in the governorates of Tubas, Salfit, and Hebron, while the occupation authorities handed out 30 demolition notifications for Palestinian facilities in the occupied West Bank.

On Wednesday, Israeli forces demolished several residential structures without prior notice, the structures were homes belonging the Karshan family in the Bedouin community in Anata town, northeast of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank.
