Israeli occupation forces seized, on Sunday night, the vehicle of a disabled Palestinian man while he tried to pass through the Jaba’ military roadblock, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, local sources reported.
Media sources said that Israeli soldiers stopped the vehicle of a disabled Palestinian man while he was driving from Jericho back to his home in the Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.
Soldiers forced Shadi Daraghmeh, 32, a former prisoner and person with disabilities, out of his vehicle, inspected his identification, and detained him for a number of hours, while abusing him.
Soldiers confiscated the man’s vehicle, with no just cause or explanation, forcing him to wait in his wheelchair for someone to pick him up once the army released him.
