On Tuesday, Israeli forces detonated a Palestinian detainee’s home in the town of Zawata, west of Nablus in the northern West Bank and demolished a detainee’s home in the town of Aqqaba, north of Tubas in the northeastern part of the West Bank.
WAFA correspondent reported that occupation forces, followed by military reinforcements, stormed the city of Nablus at dawn, and surrounded a residential building in Zawata town.
Media sources said that the army forced several Palestinian families out of their homes after evacuating 13 residential buildings in the vicinity of the building targeted for demolition.
The army placed explosives throughout the apartment of the prisoner Abdul Karim Sanoubar, before detonating it.
It is important to mention that Sanoubar has been held in occupation prison since February 20, 2025.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces demolished the home of another Palestinian detainee in the town of Aqqaba, north of Tubas.
Abdul-Razzaq Abu Ara, the Mayor of Aqqaba, told the WAFA News Agency that Israeli bulldozers demolished the family home of the detainee Ayman Najeh Ghanem.
Media sources said that the army pushed military reinforcements, including bulldozers, into the town, amid the ongoing military operations in the Tubas governorate.
In related news, occupation forces continued its demolition campaign in the city of Jenin, and the Jenin refugee camp.
After more that ten consecutive months, and the destruction of more than 600 homes in the Jenin refugee camp, Israeli forces continue to destroy citizens’ homes.
WAFA correspondent reported that the army demolished two houses on Al-Ghabz Street adjacent to the Jenin refugee camp, while continuing the demolition campaign against 24 residential buildings in the Abdullah Azzam neighborhood of the camp.
