On Friday, Israeli forces attacked the weekly anti-settlement march in the town of Beita, south of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that occupation soldiers opened fire with live ammunition, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters, causing several participants to sustain inhalation injuries; they were treated at the scene by local medics.
It is important to mention that Israeli soldiers fatally shot the Turkish-American solidarity activist, Aisha Nour Ezgi Eji, 26, while she participated in the weekly demonstration in Beita on September 6, 2024.
Meanwhile, before midnight on Friday, the army invaded the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus, sparking protests from local Palestinians.
According to Mohammad Azem, the mayor of Sebastia, Israeli forces stormed the town and fired many live rounds and tear gas canisters at those who resisted the incursion; no injuries were reported.
In related news, late Friday night, occupation soldiers invaded the town of Anabta, east of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that Israeli military vehicles stormed the town and roamed several streets and neighborhoods; no protests or arrests were reported.
Also in the northwestern part of the West Bank, occupation forces abducted a Palestinian young man in the village of Nabi Elias, east of Qalqilia.
Media sources said that soldiers abducted Mohammad Majed Muslim Qaraan, when he attempted to pass through a military roadblock at the entrance to the village on Friday evening.
