The Israeli army stormed, before dawn Thursday, Jenin city and its refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank, destroyed infrastructure and abducted seven Palestinians.
In the predawn hours of Thursday, Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Jenin and its refugee camp, in addition to many towns and villages in the governorate.
A large army force invaded Jenin city from all directions, accompanied by a military bulldozer, sparking fierce protests among local Palestinian youths.
Soldiers fired many live rounds and smoke bombs at those who resisted the incursion, while armed resistance fighters exchanged fire with the army.
Several neighborhoods were infiltrated, and many homes were stormed and ransacked, while bulldozers caused destruction of infrastructure in the eastern neighborhood.
Israeli forces invaded the home of the two brothers, Ibrahim and Muhammad Abu Hatab stealing money and jewelry from the home, before abducting them.
Another four young men, identified as Bakr Khamaysa, and his son, Saher, in addition to Hassan Badawiyah and Ahmed Abu Tabikh were abducted from the city.
Later on Thursday occupation forces abducted the former prisoner, Ahmed Talib Abu Bakr, a citizen of Ya’bad town, west of the city, after summoning him for an intelligence review at the Salem military camp.
