Israeli forces killed two Palestinians, including a child, and injured two others in separate incidents across the devastated Gaza Strip on Sunday.

An 11-year-old girl was killed a short while ago by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets in the town of Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources reported that the child, Fatima Nimr Maarouf, was killed by Israeli occupation bullets in the town of Beit Lahia.

Her killing marks the latest in a series of incidents in northern Gaza, where civilians continue to face gunfire despite repeated warnings from humanitarian agencies about the dangers to displaced families sheltering in the area.

On Saturday morning, Haroun Nimir Bahar (27) was shot by the Israeli occupation forces near the Shujaiya neighborhood checkpoint, in addition to two people injured by the Israeli occupation forces’ bullets, in an attack targeting the backyard of the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis.

The same sources added that a citizen was shot in the abdomen by the occupation forces near Nasser Hospital, west of Khan Yunis.

In addition, Israeli navy ships fired live rounds and shells at Palestinian fishermen’s boats in the sea off Khan Younis.

The ships also directed gunfire toward the coastal area and the tents of displaced civilians west of Khan Younis.

Earlier Saturday, Israeli forces bombarded and leveled several residential structures in the northeastern areas of Khan Younis.

A woman, Siniora Al-Shish (45 years old), was killed by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.

An ambulance and emergency source reported that two citizens were injured by Israeli occupation army fire in the Mawasi refugee camp (newly created refugee camp in 2024), near Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

In a related context, local sources reported that army vehicles opened fire randomly in the east Al-Bureij refugee camp for refugees in the central Gaza Strip.

Local sources also reported that occupation aircraft launched three raids east of Khan Yunis, while Israeli helicopters and tanks opened fire on the eastern areas of the city.

Also Saturday, the Israeli occupation aircraft launched raids targeting the eastern areas of Gaza City.

The Israeli occupation forces continue to fire East of Jabalia camp, Al-Bureij, and Deir Al-Balah. In addition, Israeli warships also fired heavily in the open sea of Rafah.

The Israeli military fired smoke bombs east of Jabalia, in northern Gaza.

Over 80 days after the ceasefire, Israel has continued killing and injuring Palestinians in Gaza while bombings, shelling, and destruction expand westward.

Recent attacks include strikes on Jabaliya refugee camp, al-Bureij, eastern Rafah, and parts of Gaza City, leaving at least three injured in Jabaliya alone. According to the Gaza government, 969 ceasefire violations over this period have resulted in 418 deaths and more than 1,100 injuries, including nearly 300 direct shootings, 54 residential incursions, 455 targeted attacks, and over 160 bombings of homes and civilian structures.

The death toll from the Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 71,384 killed and 171,251 injured since October 7, 2023.

Medical sources said on Saturday that 3 were killed and 18 injured arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals during the past 48 hours, while a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them so far.

The Health Ministry indicated that the total number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire (October 11, 2025) has risen to 418, and the total number of injuries to 1,171, while 684 bodies have been recovered.

Over the past week, Israeli forces killed 110 Palestinians (12/26/2025 to 01/02/2026).

Medical sources reported on Saturday that, over the past 48 hours, three Palestinians arrived at Gaza hospitals — two newly killed and one body recovered — in addition to 18 injuries. Many victims are still trapped under the rubble or lying in the streets, where ambulance and civil defense crews remain unable to reach them.

The sources added that since the “ceasefire” announced on 11 October, the total number of Palestinians killed has climbed to 418, with 1,171 injured, while 684 bodies have been recovered.

They also noted that 110 additional fatalities were incorporated into the cumulative death toll after their data was completed and formally verified by the “Martyrs’ Certification Committee” for the period 26 December 2025 to 2 January 2026.

Israel has now killed at least 71,384 Palestinians and injured 171,251 in the devastated Gaza Strip since October 7,  2023.
