Israeli forces killed a Palestinian man on Wednesday morning, after severely assaulting him in the town of Ar-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem. Soldiers also abducted a woman and her child in the town of Al-‘Isawiya, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.
Media sources reported that occupation forces killed the citizen, Salim Raji Hassan Abu Aisha, 57, after brutally assaulting him and striking him in the head, while he was near the Annexation Wall in Al-Ram town attempting to reach his workplace.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews received the body of the slain man at the Qalandia military roadblock and transported it to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah.
Later, Palestinians in attended the funeral ceremony for the Abu Aisha in his hometown of Zababdeh, south of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that the funeral procession began at the man’s family home where his family members said their final goodbyes.
Mourners carried the body on their shoulders through the streets of Zababdeh, before performing the funeral prayer at the town’s mosque and burying him in the town’s cemetery.
Since the beginning of the year, Israeli forces and colonizers have killed 217 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, including 39 children and 6 women.
Occupation forces have killed 73 Palestinians in Jenin, 38 in Nablus, 29 in Tubas, 17 in Tulkarem, 17 in Hebron, 17 in Ramallah, 9 in Bethlehem, 7 in Jerusalem, 6 in Qalqilia, 3 in Salfit, and 1 in Jericho, according to the Shireen Observatory.
In the Gaza Strip, the overall death toll since October 7, 2023 has increased to 67,938 including women and children, while at least 170,169 Palestinians have sustained various degrees of injuries as a result of Israel’s military onslaught.
In related news, the army stormed the town of Al-Isawiya town, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, on Wednesday morning, and abducted two Palestinians after invading their home.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that the occupation forces abducted the 7-year-old child, Mohammad Sabtah, and his mother after breaking into their home in Al-‘Isawiya town.
Also, Israeli forces invaded the town of Kafr Aqab, north of Jerusalem, on Wednesday morning, invading several citizens’ homes in the Al-Zgheir neighborhood,
