On Tuesday, Israeli forces killed a Palestinian young man and injured many others, after invading the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

Medical sources told the WAFA News Agency that the young man, Tariq Qasim Al-Qassas, 34, died of a critical gunshot wound to the chest, near the Western cemetery in Nablus city.

The sources added that at least 7 others sustained live gunshot wounds, 6 from bullet fragments, 17 from inhaling toxic tear gas, and one who sustained injuries from a fall during the incursion.


Occupation forces stormed the city of Nablus for the third time in 24 hours, and deployed infantry units in the western cemetery on University Street, sparking protests among local Palestinians.

Media sources said that soldiers fired many live rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades at citizens, resulting in several injuries, including the critically wounded Al-Qassas.

Quds News Network reported that Israeli forces attempted to abduct a Palestinian from an ambulance after shooting him near the Western Cemetery in Nablus city.


Armed resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading army; there were no reports of any arrests.


Sources added that the army violated the sanctity of the cemetery by demolishing a number of headstones.


In the eastern part of the city, Israeli forces opened fire with live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters, resulting in one citizen sustaining a live gunshot wound to the leg.

In related news, occupation forces invaded the village of Osarin, southeast of Nablus, and opened fire with tear gas canisters, causing a 75-year-old woman with a heart condition to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces stormed the village of Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiya, south of the city, causing school students and citizens to sustain inhalation injuries.

Media sources said that occupation soldiers chased high school students, fired tear gas canisters and concussion grenades at them in addition to citizens’ homes, causing several people to suffer inhalation injuries, and terrorizing the residents.

Furthermore, the army invaded the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, and injured Palestinian citizens.

Fouad Hassan, a local anti-settlement activist, said that occupation forces stormed the town and opened fire with live rounds and tear gas canisters, causing many citizens to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.

On Tuesday at dawn, Israeli forces stormed the village of Yatma, south of Nablus, and abducted a young man, in addition to invading several neighborhoods in Nablus city.

Media sources said that occupation soldiers stormed and searched the home of the citizen, Saleh Younis Sanobar, before abducting him.
