Israeli occupation forces invaded the village of Anza, south of Jenin in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, on Wednesday morning, killing a Palestinian teenager and injuring three others.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that Ahmad Jihad Brahama, 19, was fatally shot in the chest with live ammunition.

Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) paramedics evacuated him from the scene, but he died shortly after reaching medical care.

Local sources reported that Israeli troops stormed the village with armored vehicles, closed the main roundabout, and deployed snipers across rooftops.

The invasion disrupted civilian movement along the Nablus–Jenin corridor and triggered protests.

Three other Palestinians were wounded during the incursion, including one who sustained serious injuries. All were transferred to nearby hospitals for treatment.

The invasion of Anza was part of a broader military campaign targeting multiple towns in the Jenin governorate, including Ya’bad, Sanur, and Um Dar. Israeli forces ransacked homes, seized property, and blocked key roads.

This latest assault follows a pattern of intensified Israeli invasions and violations across the West Bank, where dozens of Palestinians have been killed since the start of September.

Ahmad Brahama is among the growing number of victims in what rights advocates describe as a systematic campaign of serious violations and collective punishment carried out by Israeli forces under the ongoing blockade and occupation.
