Israeli forces killed a Palestinian young man, on Thursday, shot and injured two others, and abducted two, one of whom was injured, in Jaba’ town southwest of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.
On Thursday afternoon, undercover Israeli agents (Musta’ribeen) infiltrated the town and surrounded the home of a former political prisoner in the town of Jaba’ southwest of Jenin.
A large military force entered the town, positioning sharpshooters on the rooftops of tall buildings, while armed resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading army.
The besieged former prisoner, Majdi Abdul-Latif Fashafsha, 37, refused to surrender to the army and was fatally shot by occupation forces.
Two other young men were shot with live ammunition, one of whom was abducted by the army.
One of the injured young men, identified as Basil Jamal Malaysha, was dragged by a military jeep and abducted.
Another Palestinian, Muhammad Eid Hamamra was abducted by the army in an attempt to coerce his son to turn himself in.
In related news, the Ministry of Health announced that Fahim Ahmad Fahim Khatib, 25, died on Wednesday evening, two days after Israeli forces shot him in the abdomen with live ammunition in the central West Bank city of Ramallah.
