Israeli forces shot and killed, on Wednesday, a Palestinian young man and shot three others, including two children, in separate incidents in the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin.
Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian young man, on Wednesday, after invading the town of Kafr Dan, northwest of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.
Occupation forces stormed the town, triggering protests, while soldiers fired live rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades at those who resisted the incursion.
Media sources said that occupation forces shot and killed the former prisoner, Mohammad Ibrahim Tawfiq Abed, 32, after storming the town of Kafr Dan, on Wednesday afternoon.
Sources added that the body of the slain young man was transported to the Jenin Governmental Hospital.
Later, Palestinians held the funeral procession for the slain Mohammad Ibrahim Tawfiq Abed, in the town of Kafr Dan, northwest of Jenin.
Media sources said that mourners gathered in front of the Al-Hadaf Medical Center in the town of Al-Yamoun, on Wednesday evening and carried the body of the slain man on their shoulders towards his hometown of Kafr Dan.
Sources added that mourners performed the funeral prayer before burying him in the town’s cemetery.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian child, on Wednesday, in the town of Al-Yamoun, northwest of Jenin, after invading the nearby village of Kafr Dan.
Media sources said that soldiers stormed the village of Kafr Dan in the afternoon, which sparked protests among local Palestinian youths, and shot a child.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that its ambulance crews transported a citizen who was shot with live ammunition, to the Jenin Governmental Hospital for treatment.
Furthermore, during the ongoing aggression against the city of Jenin, Israeli forces shot two Palestinian citizens, including a child, with live ammunition on Wednesday afternoon.
The PRCS said that its ambulance crews transported a critically injured young man to hospital after he was shot with a live round in the eastern neighborhood of the city.
Media sources said that on Wednesday afternoon, Israeli sharpshooters stationed in the “German” neighborhood, shot a Palestinian child in the head with live ammunition.
Sources added that occupation forces imposed a curfew on the eastern neighborhood of the city, impeding citizens’ movements, stormed many citizens’ homes, detained their inhabitants, and subjected them to interrogation.
Media sources said that occupation forces blocked the roads to the Ibn Sina Hospital, and besieged the Martyr Khalil Suleiman Hospital, in addition to besieging the headquarters of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) and the Friends of the Patients Society.
According to Wissam Bakr, the director of Khalil Suleiman Governmental Hospital, told WAFA that he received threats that the occupation forces would storm the hospital.
Bakr added that the situation in the hospital is very difficult, and stated that the Israeli forces are preventing ambulance crews from entering the hospital, and obstructing the work of medical crews.
In related news, occupation forces abducted two Palestinian young men in the town of Kafr Dan, northwest of Jenin, on Wednesday afternoon.
Media sources said that soldiers abducted the citizens, Osama Abed and Mustafa Salah, after invading and searching their parents’ homes.
On Wednesday morning, Israeli soldiers abducted a Palestinian young man in the city of Jenin, during the ongoing military incursion.
Media sources said that occupation forces abducted the young man, Yazan Suqiya, after breaking into and searching his home.
Sources added that another young man, identified as Ahmad Abu Al-Abbas was abducted by Israeli soldiers from his brother’s home in the village of Burqin, west of the city.
