Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian man, on Sunday, after an alleged car-ramming attack between the towns of Anata and Hizma, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.

Media sources said that the young man, Sami Fathi Al-Amoudi, 44, succumbed to live gunshot wounds inflicted on him by Israeli soldiers during an alleged car-ramming attack near Hizma town, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.

Sources added that occupation forces shot the young man, on Sunday morning, near Hizma town, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, after opening fire at his vehicle between the towns of Anata and Hizma.

A video published on the Telegram platform shows Israeli soldiers pulling the young man’s lifeless body out of the driver’s seat of his vehicle.

Occupation forces shot and abducted the young man, who later succumbed to his wounds; he was a resident of the Shu’fat refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.

It was also reported that the army invaded the slain man’s family home in the Shu’fat refugee camp; no arrests were reported.

The Arab 48 news website quoted the Israeli army who claimed the slain young man tried to run over soldiers that were present near Hizma town, before they opened shot him and abducted him.

The army claimed that “the military force responded quickly, killing the attacker and thwarting the attempted attack, without recording any injuries among the army forces,” and added that “the perpetrator was neutralized.”

In related news, Israeli forces invaded, on Sunday night, the Shu’fat refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, breaking into and ransacking the family home of the slain young man, and injured several citizens.

Media sources said that soldiers stormed the Shu’fat refugee camp and opened fire with rubber-coated steel rounds and tear gas canisters, causing many citizens to suffer inhalation injuries.

Since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have killed 763 Palestinians in the West Bank, including 166 children, and injured 6,300.

The distribution of those killed in the West Bank is as follows; 201 in Jenin, 174 in Tulkarem, 81 in Nablus, 75 in Hebron, 59 in Ramallah, 59 in Tubas, 48 in Jerusalem, 30 in Qalqilia, 20 in Bethlehem, 12 in Jericho, 12 inside Israel, and 4 in Salfit.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have killed 42,924 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, most of whom are women and children, and injured 100,833 citizens, while the bodies of thousands of citizens remained buried under the rubble of the devastated coastal enclave.
