Updated November 16, 2025 at 12:57 PM: The Palestinian Health Ministry announced at dawn Sunday, that the Hassan Ahmad Jamil Mpusa, 19, was killed by occupation forces at midnight Saturday/Sunday, in the Old Askar refugee camp.
Amjad Hassan, the director of ambulance and emergency services at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Nablus, reported that Israeli forces shot the youth in the chest with live ammunition.
Hassan added that soldiers opened fire with live rounds, shooting two youths, including one whom they shot in the back with live rounds; his condition was not known at the time of this report.
Media sources said that local Palestinian youths confronted the invading army, while soldiers responded with live fire.

Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man at midnight Saturday/Sunday, after invading the Old Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
Media sources reported that the young man, Hassan Ahmad Sharkasi, was killed after occupation forces shot him with live ammunition after storming the Old Askar refugee camp.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported a slain young man in addition to an injured citizen to the hospital after they were shot by soldiers in the Askar camp.
Since the beginning of the year, Israeli forces and colonizers have killed 239 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, including 48 children and 7 women.
Since the beginning of the year, occupation forces and illegal settlers have killed 80 Palestinians in Jenin, 43 in Nablus, 30 in Tubas, 22 in Hebron, 19 in Ramallah, 17 in Tulkarem, 9 in Bethlehem, 9 in Jerusalem, 6 in Qalqilia, 3 in Salfit, and 1 in Jericho, according to the Shireen Observatory.
In the Gaza Strip, the overall death toll since October 7, 2023 has increased to 69,187 including women and children, while at least 170,703 Palestinians have sustained various degrees of injuries as a result of Israel’s military onslaught.
In related news the army stormed the towns of Tel and Awarta, southwest an south of Nablus, on Saturday afternoon.
Media sources reported that occupation forces invaded Tel and Awarta towns, firing live ammunition and tear gas canisters; no injuries or abductions were reported.
