On Friday, Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian farmer while he was working on his land near the village of Madama, south of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.

The General Authority for Civil Affairs confirmed the death of 59-year-old Jabreen Ahmad Jabreen Qat adding that occupation forces continue to withhold his body.

According to Amjad Ahmad, the director of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) ambulance and emergency center in Nablus, one citizen sustained a serious gunshot injury near Madama town.

Ahmad added that Israeli soldiers blocked its ambulance crews from reaching the critically injured man, before transporting him to an undisclosed location, despite an attempt to coordinate his rescue with the Red Cross.

Since the beginning of the Israeli military aggression against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, occupation forces have killed 1108 Palestinian citizens in the West Bank, including 230 children and 24 women.

In the Jenin governorate, 310 Palestinians have been killed, while 213 were killed in Tulkarem, 141 in Nablus, 106 in Hebron, 98 in Tubas, 82 in Ramallah, 61 in Jerusalem, 42 in Qalqilia, 34 in Bethlehem, 13 in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, and 8 in Salfit, according to the Shireen Observatory.
