Israeli forces killed a Palestinian young man from the Gaza Strip on Monday evening, while he and others were near the Apartheid wall, south of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.
The Ma’an News Agency reported that occupation forces shot and critically injured the young man Omar Zuhair Suweirki, from the Gaza Strip, while he was near the Apartheid wall south of Qalqilia.
It added that the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) received the seriously wounded young man at a military roadblock east of Qalqilia, before transporting him to the Darwish Nazzal Governmental Hospital in Qalqilia where he was pronounced dead.
The army claimed that its forces opened fire towards four young men who were attempting to enter Israel over the Apartheid wall south of Qalqilia, resulting in the “death” of one of them.
In related news, occupation forces killed the young man Qusay Maher Ismail Halaika, 27, and confiscated his body on Wednesday after an alleged “stabbing attack” at the Tunnels military roadblock, west of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank.
Since the beginning of the Israeli military aggression against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, occupation forces have killed 1111 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, including 230 children and 24 women.
In the Jenin governorate, 310 Palestinians have been killed, while 213 were killed in Tulkarem, 141 in Nablus, 107 in Hebron, 98 in Tubas, 82 in Ramallah, 61 in Jerusalem, 43 in Qalqilia, 35 in Bethlehem, 13 in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, and 8 in Salfit, according to the Shireen Observatory.
