Israeli forces killed a Palestinian young man, on Saturday, in the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah in the central West Bank, in addition to shooting a child with live ammunition near occupied Jerusalem.

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that 18-year-old Hamdan Mousa Mohammad Abu Alia was killed by occupation forces in the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah.

The head of the Al-Mughayyir village council, Amin Abu Aliya, told the WAFA News Agency that occupation forces invaded the village on Saturday evening, and opened fire with live ammunition.

Abu Aliya added that Israeli forces shot the young man in the back with live rounds and proceeded to assault him; he was transported to hospital for treatment where he was later pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.

In related news, illegal Israeli colonizers stormed the village of Al-Mughayyir on Saturday afternoon, and set fire to citizens’ property, causing damage.

Media sources said that a group of Israeli settlers invaded the village and burned a number of citizens’ vehicles and mobile homes, no injuries were reported.

Meanwhile, on Saturday evening, Israeli forces invaded several towns and villages in the Ramallah and Al-Biereh governorate, in the central occupied West Bank.

Media sources reported that occupation forces stormed the town of Birzeit, north of Ramallah, the villages of Abu Shkheidam, Kafr Ein, Burham, and Kobar, northwest of the city, Silwad town, to the northeast, and the village of Deir Ibzi to the west; no arrests or protests were reported.

Furthermore, occupation forces shot a Palestinian child with live rounds while he was present near the Annexation Wall, east of occupied Jerusalem, on Saturday morning.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported a 17-year-old child to hospital after he was shot in the leg with live ammunition while he was in the vicinity of the Apartheid Wall near the village of ash-Sheikh Sa’d, southeast of occupied Jerusalem.

Since the beginning of the year, Israeli forces and colonizers have killed 196 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, including 37 children and 6 women.

Occupation forces have killed 67 Palestinians in Jenin, 35 in Nablus, 27 in Tubas, 17 in Tulkarem, 15 in Hebron, 13 in Ramallah, 9 in Bethlehem, 5 in Jerusalem, 4 in Qalqilia, 3 in Salfit, and 1 in Jericho.

In the Gaza Strip, the overall death toll since October 7, 2023 has increased to 61,897 including women and children, while at least 155,660 Palestinians have sustained various degrees of injuries as a result of Israel’s military onslaught.
