Israeli forces killed a Palestinian young man, on Saturday, after shooting and abducting him from a home in Tammun town, south of Tubas in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.
On Saturday evening, the General Authority of Civil Affairs informed the Palestinian Health Ministry that the young man, Ahmad Qasem Suleiman Bani Odeh, 22,, succumbed to his wounds while in the custody of Israeli forces.
Media sources said that occupation forces invaded the town of Tammun, on Saturday morning, followed by additional reinforcements, including a military bulldozer.
Sources added that Israeli soldiers besieged a citizen’s home and opened heavy fire at the home, shooting Bani Odeh before abducting him and taking him to an unknown location.
Meanwhile, the Arab 48 News website quoted the Tubas Battalion of the Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad resistance movement, who stated that their fighters exchanged fire with the attacking army in Tammun town.
It is important to mention that the occupation army withheld the body of the slain young man.
According to the Shireen Observatory, Israeli forces continue to withhold the bodies of at least 410 Palestinians killed since the Second Intifada (uprising), which began on September 28, 2000.
Since the beginning of the year, Israeli forces have killed 113 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, including 18 children and 4 women.
Occupation forces have killed 49 Palestinians in Jenin, 20 in Tubas, 14 in Tulkarem, 14 in Nablus, 5 in Hebron, 3 in Qalqilia, 3 in Bethlehem, 3 in Jerusalem, 1 in Ramallah, and 1 in Salfit.
