Israeli forces killed a Palestinian youth and assaulted two paramedics, on Wednesday night, after invading the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank.

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that the young man Osama Yasser Kamil (20 years old) was shot and killed by occupation forces in Qabatiya town.

Media sources reported that Israeli forces shot Kamil in the abdomen with live ammunition while he was in the cafes area in Qabatiya town; he was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The sources added that the army stormed the town of Qabatiya on Wednesday evening, deploying sharpshooters and infantry units, and storming citizen’s homes.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that occupation soldiers assaulted and injured two ambulance crew members who were treating a wounded citizen; they were transported to the hospital.

The army claimed that a number of explosive devices were found inside the slain youth’s vehicle and were neutralized at the scene.
