Israeli occupation forces shot and killed, on Friday, two displaced Palestinians and injured at least eleven more while citizens were trying to reach their homes in the northern Gaza Strip.
While thousands of internally displaced Palestinians were making their way from Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, to check the conditions of their homes in the north, soldiers targeted them with live ammunition.
Two people, including the young man, Zakaria Al-Shantaf, 26, who was shot and killed by a live round in the chest, the other shooting victim was not identified at the time of writing this report.
Sources added that Palestinian photojournalist, Mustafa Bakir was killed in violent airstrikes carried out by Israeli occupation warplanes at dawn Friday, just hours before the our day humanitarian truce was to take effect.
It is important to mention that occupation warplanes fired missiles at the home of the Palestinian journalist, Amal Zohd in Gaza City, killing her and her entire family, at dawn Friday.
After 48 consecutive days of Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, the Qatar and Egypt brokered 4 day truce took effect at 7 am on Friday.
Israeli airplanes dropped leaflets over southern Gaza, warning the hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians who sought refuge there not to return north, the Associated Press reported.
The fliers read “The war is not over yet,” and “Returning to the north is forbidden and very dangerous!!!”
Videos showed Palestinians returning to their homes in Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, despite the Israeli army’s warnings that it is a combat zone.

At least 1.7 million people from northern Gaza were displaced to the south, those who returned to their homes today found that entire neighborhoods were wiped out.
Al-Jazeera reported that Israeli occupation forces detonated generators, medical devices, and oxygen pumps at the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City before withdrawing on Friday.
Israeli forces had bombed, stormed, and besieged the hospital for ten days prior to withdrawing on Friday.
