On Sunday, Israeli forces shot twelve citizens, ran over another, and abducted one, during a military incursion into Nablus city, in the northern occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that, on Sunday morning, undercover Israeli agents “Musta’ribeen” infiltrated the Old City of Nablus and besieged a citizen’s home in the Habas al-Dam neighborhood, before reinforcements arrived, while the sounds of intense gunfire and explosions were heard.
Sources added that occupation forces opened fire at citizens with live ammunition and tear gas canisters, while armed resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading army.
WAFA correspondent quoted Amid Ahmad, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Emergency and Ambulance Center in Nablus who stated that 12 citizens, including an elderly man and children were shot with live ammunition.
He added that a child sustained shrapnel wounds to the face and hand, 8 citizens, including a 60-year-old man were shot in the leg, 1 citizen was shot in the pelvis, and 2 others were shot in the hand.
Additionally, paramedics transported a wounded young man to the hospital after he was run over by an occupation military vehicle, while dozens of citizens, including journalists, suffered the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.
The PRCS added that the army blocked ambulance crews from entering the Zafer Al-Masry School where injuries were reported.
Media sources added that occupation forces abducted the young man, Jamal Halawa, from the Old City.
