Israeli forces shot two Palestinian children on Thursday night after targeting their vehicle in the town of Silwad, northeast of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank. In the southern West Bank city of Hebron, the army abducted a 15-year-old child.

Media sources reported that occupation forces opened fire with live ammunition towards a vehicle travelling near the Mazra’a junction in Silwad.

Soldiers shot two children (14 and 15 years old) with live rounds, one of whom was struck in the chest; his condition was reported as stable, while the other suffered minor injuries.

Meanwhile, the army abducted a Palestinian child in the center of Hebron city, in the southern West Bank.

WAFA correspondent reported that occupation soldiers stationed at the military roadblock at the entrance to Al-Shuhada Street in Hebron, abducted 15-year-old Hamid Mufid Al-Sharbati when he attempted to pass through the roadblock to return to his home.

Occupation forces also stormed the town of Beit Awwa, west of Hebron and spread through its streets, firing tear gas and concussion grenades among citizens’ homes; no injuries were reported.

In related news, occupation forces invaded the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus, and the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, in the northern West Bank.

According to Sebastia Mayor, Mohammed Azem Israeli soldiers stormed the town on Thursday night, breaking into a number of citizens’ homes and interrogating their residents.


South of Jenin, the army stormed the town of Qabatiya and invaded a number of citizens’ homes in the “Al-Zakarneh” neighborhood; no arrests were reported.

In Jenin city infantry units were deployed in Jenin city, stopping citizens’ vehicles and firing tear gas canisters near the Cinema roundabout in the city center; no injuries were reported.
