Israeli forces shot a Palestinian child in the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, before dawn Thursday. Including a photojournalist, occupation forces detained and assaulted several young men in Beita town, south of Nablus, on Wednesday night, in the northern occupied West Bank.
According to Amid Ahmad, the Director of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Emergency and Ambulance Center in Nablus, their ambulance crews transported a 15-year-old child to the hospital after he sustained a live gunshot wound in the leg.
Sources added that the Israeli army also invaded Sufyan Street and the Rafidia area, while firing concussion grenades and tear canisters; no injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday night, the army detained and abused several Palestinian young men, including a photojournalist, at the entrance to the town of Beita, south of Nablus.
Media sources said that occupation soldiers detained a group of young men at the entrance to Beita town for five hours, while assaulting them, striking them with rifle butts, and kicking them while they were on the ground.
The Quds News Network (QNN) reported that Israeli forces bound and blindfolded Palestinian photojournalist, Wahaj Bani Moufleh, among other young men, while he was covering the army’s violations in Beita town.
On his social media account, Bani Moufleh revealed injuries to both of his wrists as a result of the zip ties soldiers used to bind his hands; he was later released.
