Israeli forces shot, on Sunday, a Palestinian young man and abducted three others in the central West Bank city of Ramallah and the town of Birzeit to the north.

On Sunday, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian with live ammunition, after invading the town of Birzeit, north of Ramallah.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that they transported a young man to hospital who sustained a live bullet wound in the thigh.

Before dawn on Sunday, the army stormed the city of Ramallah and the town of Birzeit, north of the city, and abducted at least three Palestinians.

Media sources said that soldiers surrounded residential buildings and homes in the Al-Masayef, Al-Balou’, and Al-Irsal neighborhoods in Ramallah, detonated the front doors of homes before storming and searching homes.


Soldiers abducted Marjan Harish, 27, and Ashraf Karakra, 35, during the incursion into the city.

In Birzeit town, Israeli forces broke into and searched several citizens’ homes and abducted Abdul Rahman Sharqawi, 33.
