Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man on Sunday afternoon, in the town of Ar-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem.

Media sources said that occupation soldiers opened fire with live rounds towards a 21-year-old man attempting to cross the Annexation wall in the Al-Barid suburb of Ar-Ram.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported a young man to the hospital after he was shot in the chest and the shoulder; his condition was not known at the time of this report.

On Sunday night, occupation soldiers invaded the town of Ar-Ram, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths.


Media sources said that the army fired concussion grenades and tear gas canisters towards those who resisted the incursion; no injuries were reported.


In related news, Israeli police forcibly evicted three Palestinian families from their homes and assaulted one of the homeowners on Sunday, in the town of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.
