Israeli forces attacked a peaceful protest, on Friday, and wounded five Palestinians in the village of As-Sawiya, south of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.
Quds News Network correspondent stated that dozens of Palestinians held a peaceful protest, waving Palestinian flags, to express their opposition to Israel’s illegal settlement activity.
The reporter said that Israeli forces suppressed the demonstration and fired concussion grenades and tear-gas canisters at the crowd, in addition to assaulting some of the demonstrators.
The Palestinian Red Crescent issued a statement that 5 Palestinians received injuries, four of which were treated at the scene, the fifth of whom was transferred to hospital.
