Israeli forces opened fire, on Tuesday, towards Palestinian farmers in the central Gaza Strip and fishermen off the coast of Gaza City in the northern besieged enclave, according to local sources.

Correspondent for the Palestinian News & Information Agency (WAFA) stated that occupation soldiers opened live fire towards farmers along the eastern border of Deir al-Balah city, in the central besieged Gaza Strip.

The farmers were on their way to tend to their agricultural lands when the army opened live fire at them, terrorizing them and causing them to abandon their daily work which is their only means of providing for their families.

Furthermore, the Israeli Navy opened live fire and water cannons towards Palestinian fishermen who were sailing at three nautical miles, off the al-Sudaniya shore, west of Gaza City in the northern coastal enclave, damaging one boat, and forcing the fishermen back to shore.

The fishermen were forced to abandon their work, which is their only means of providing for their families.

No injuries were reported in either shooting incident.
